30 Day Prayer 4 Your Marriage Challenge Day 12
Pray that you could be quick to forgive hurts
Pray that you and your spouse would let go of bitterness. Pray that your spouse understand the ways they hurt you in the past. Pray your spouse repents of their actions and learn from his or her mistakes. Pray for God’s love to fill your heart and give you the grace you need to move forward in a positive direction.
Matthew 6:14-15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins."
As you go over these scriptures, make sure that you and your spouse know exactly how you've been hurt or mistreated in the past. You both should eliminate bitterness and forgive and apologize to another. Repent and pray that you can reconcile one to another The scriptures above show how God's word can help us in that area. I pray this journey is helping marriages far and near. Join us tomorrow for day 13. God bless.
