30 Day Prayer 4 Your Marriage Challenge Day 1

30 Day Prayer 4 Your Marriage Challenge

Ever feel like your marriage needs more prayer, your marriage is in a rut; you and your spouse are drifting away from one another and it's hard to get to a place to meet in the middle? Prayer changes things. Maybe you should pray more, spend more time doing things together as a couple, talk about the sore areas in your relationship. This 30 day challenge is going to give you something to shoot for.

Here's how the challenge works...some days there will be scriptures, journaling, prayer, and a host of other things to help you all in this challenge. Are you guys ready? Let the marriage transformation begin.

Pray that your spouse puts God first above every relationship including yours.
Pray your spouse has a burning desire to know more of the Lord and to surrender all to Him. Pray for both of your relationships with God that you would not hold one another to any expectations that only God can fill.
Luke 10:27
"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
Psalm 84:12
"O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."
Psalm 105:4
"Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore."

As you meditate on these scriptures, remember what the goal is. To challenge your marriage. So when it says in Luke 10:27 to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, strength and mind...that should mean to love more than....more than anything in this world, including your spouse. Our marriages will be blessed if we trust in the Lord and seek His strength and face (Psalm 84:12, Psalm 105:4).

Today is day 1, the start of our 30 day marriage transformation. I hope you all can see the progress already. God has a great work for kingdom marriages in this season. As we go about our daily lives and interaction with other spouse, we should be mindful that this is a ministry as well. We are accountable for our actions. Let's keep our spouses lifted up before the Lord and if there are other couples who may need a marriage challenge, share this with them, and pray for them as well. God bless you all, see you tomorrow for DAY 2.
