Pray for fidelity

Pray you would both know the seriousness of your wedding vows, and that you

both would not entertain lustful thoughts but take all thoughts captive

for Christ. Ask God to establish a relationship of mutual trust and honesty

between you both.

2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Proverbs 20:6-7

6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find goodness: or, bounty

7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him

Fidelity is an important thing in a marriage. When trust is broken and vows are severed, it makes it hard to align lives back together again. We need to think of each other as part of ourselves. We become 1 when we marry. If we walk in the light, our chances of staying there in it are good and we will bypassing the darkness. Lust, and flirting all wrong. Stop if you're doing it, it won't end up good. Pray with your spouse daily, my spouse and I pray on a regular basis. If you are having any doubts about your spouse , talk about it, then pray.
