30 Day Prayer 4 Your Marriage Challenge Day 8

Pray for romance

Pray that your spouse would know the ways you receive love and actively seek to show you love in those ways. Pray you could do the same for your spouse. Pray that you would not lean on your spouse to fill a place in your heart that only God can fill.

Proverbs 19:14 "House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord."

Ecclesiastes 4:12 "And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

These scriptures will help us to learn to appreciate one another. The closer we are to God in our relationship with Him, the more love we will have for our spouse. Knowing HOWto love is key. Pray that you will love your  spouse as you should.
