Pray that God would bless the work of your hands

Pray that God blesses the work of your hands, and that you would enjoy your work and see God glorified in the many facets of your jobs, callings and pursuits. Pray against making an idol or identity out of work. When you work or your spouse’s work is toilsome, pray for endurance and perspective.

Psalm 90:17 "And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."

Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men"

As the scriptures say we are to do whatever we do "heartily" as to the Lord, not men. So as we go about our day, let's pray for our spouse. That we do all things heartily as to the Lord and that our hands are blessed as well. Who knows who will learn, gleen,or even come to Christ as we are out representing our Father.
