Today's devotional is from 

Psalm 119:11

11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. NKJV

The book of Psalm is thought to be written by King David but it's uncertain if it was truly written by him or not. Even still this passage gives an example on how knowledge of scripture helps us maintain a moral and pure life before the Lord. It also helps give us a confident feeling that we can reach God when we need him through his word. 

Every scripture that we read and apply to our life the more we apply it, learn it and use it in our daily living, we tend to hold it near and dear in our hearts if you may. When we keep the word of God as a part of our tool we can fight the enemy through any trial and tribulation that we have. The word of God was written to defeat the enemy with. That's why it's our sword in the armor of God that we must put on daily to keep ourselves from being attacked from the enemy. With these helpful tips in mind we can avoid stumbling into the devil's devices to slow us down and take us out of the race. Study the Bible and hold every word of God as close as you can in your heart. 

As with every post, I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that wants to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. If this is you today, just recite this prayer. 

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of god. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on a third day for my victory. I believe in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Lord and savior. 

If you recited this prayer, then you are saved according to Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10. If you don't have a church, please search for a good Bible teaching, truth speaking church. Pray and ask God to send you to the right church, He will answer. I am so proud of you and I would like to welcome you to the family. The angels in heaven are rejoicing for you.
