Summer Devotionals

Today's devotional is from 

2 Corinthians 10:3

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

Many times we go through problems and we try to handle them accordingly in our own right. Then we realize that what we are fighting with is our flesh. The enemy cannot be fought in the flesh, he must be dealt with in the spirit.

As we grow in God and in our spiritual walk with him we learn that prayer is a way to attack the enemy, worship is a way to attack the enemy, and praise is a way to attack the enemy. 

The Bible lets us know that we wrestle not against principalities, powers, and dark rulers in the earth.  (Ephesians 6:12)

If we walk in the spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh and we can defeat the enemy no matter which way he comes, through Jesus Christ.

As with every post, I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that wants to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. If this is you today, just recite this prayer. 

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my victory. I believe in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Lord and Savior.

If you recited this prayer, then you are saved according to Romans Chapter 10 verses 9 and 10. If you don't have a church, please search for a good Bible teaching, truth speaking church. Pray and ask God to send you to the right church, He will answer. I am so proud of you and I would like to welcome you to the family. The angels in heaven are rejoicing for you.
