Summer Devotionals

June 23, 2025

Today's devotional is from

James 4:7

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. NKJV

Sometimes we can be prideful, knowingly and unknowingly. Pride is easy to slip in, and sometimes hard to even recognize is there. We all have read verse 7 in the book of James and have applied it to our lives a time or two. The word of God is there for us to use in our lives, but we must use the whole verse. Having submitted ourselves to God, we can then resist the enemy and he will flee. Most times that part is totally forgotten and we just try to resist the enemy for him to flee and he doesn't. Making sure we put the whole verse to use is the only way to deal with the enemy. He's very cunning and slick and he wants nothing more than to mess with us as much as he can to keep us in sin. So let's remember that as we submit ourselves to God we have an open door push the enemy out of.

As with every post I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that wants to accept Christ as their lord and savior. If this is you today, just recite this prayer.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my victory. I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Lord and Savior.

If you recited this prayer, then you are saved according to Romans Chapter 10 verses 9 and 10. If you don't have a church, please search for a good Bible teaching, truth speaking church. Pray and ask God to send you to the right church, He will. I am so proud of you and I would like to welcome you to the family. The angels are rejoicing in heaven for you.

We are available if you need someone to communicate with you. You can email us at admin@urbeauty4asheswm8.com. Have a very blessed and productive day. Remember, I love you with the love of the Lord! See you next post. 💕😊💕
