Day Six: Healing and Joy

Scripture Reading

Isaiah 61:3
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."                                                                                 

***Ask God to heal any hurts that your pastor has suffered in the ministry. Pray that he will serve the Lord with gladness and encourage the congregation to worship God with a joyful, surrendered spirit.

My prayer

Lord, I pray that you heal any hurts, any disappointments, any ungodly thing that Pastor Tom has suffered in ministry and in serving you. Give him a spirit of gladness and encouragement for his sheep. Lord continue to keep him in you ark of safety to keep the congregation joyful and lead of the spirit. In Jesus name Amen.
