Day Nine: Tending the Prayer Hedges

Scripture Reading 

Ezekiel 22:30

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

2 Corinthians 10:4–5 

4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;"

5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Matthew 19:6

"Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

***Pray that God will build a hedge of protection around your pastor’s marriage and that he and his wife will be aware of the potential for any improper relationships. Pray that their family time will be protected. If your pastor is not married, pray for his relationships with loved ones and those who are close to him.

My prayer

Lord I pray that Pastor Tom and his wife keep the hedge of protection around them and their marriage. I thank you that their marriage is strong  and able to be used a model marriage for others. I pray for their children and grandchildren as well. Keep them all from any inproper relationships, let your light shine through them to ahow who they are in you. These things we pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
