30-Day Praying for Your Pastor Challenge
Day Seven: A Strong Family
Scripture Reading
Ephesians 6:4
"And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke."
Colossians 3:20–21
v20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.v21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
***Pray for your pastor’s children and especially that the pressures of the ministry will not discourage or embitter them. Pray that your pastor will provide godly leadership in the home, not based on fear of what others will think, but according to scriptural truth. If your pastor does not have children, pray that God will give him many “spiritual children” as he shares the gospel.
My prayer
Father, I pray for Pastor Tom's children, that the cares of the ministry and the world will not alter them in any way. I pray that the ministry his son and daughter have is for your glory. Give them the strength they will need to serve you according to the gospel truth of your word. Keep Pastor Tom in godly leadership at home and church as well so as to encourage his children. These things we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
Continue to join us as we pray for our Pastors. See you tomorrow, be blessed.
