Hello ladies welcome to week 3 of " Women of the Bible "Blog Bible Study
The Study of the Book of Ruth Lesson 3 Chapter 3 1-9
This week we find that Naomii is going to try to find a place for her daughter in law to be well provided for. She told her to wash herself up and perfume herself, and put on her best clothes. Naomi said to wait until Boaz ate and drank, and not let him know she was there, see where he was laying and go uncover his feet.He would tell her what to do. Ruth said she would do whatever Naomi said, and she did.Boaz finished eating and drinking and just as Naomi said, he laid down at the end of the grain pile. Ruth went a quietly uncovered his feet and laid by them. In the middle of the night Boaz was startled, and saw a woman laying at his feet and asked who she was, she replied, "I am Ruth, your servant." "Spread your garment over me since you are a kinsman redeemer."
Ruth was following instructions given by her mother in law. She was obedient. Ruth had no input on Naomis plan to approach Boaz. We will find out what happens next week,
