Going The Extra Mile

God is raising up women, and real men follow? This is not a sexist comment or meant to upstage men, it's clearly just an observation I have made over the years. Men are the stronger vessel, yes, in the physical state. But in the emotional, and spiritual state, I have to go with the woman. This is not because I am a woman, but because God is using women now in this hour. Just refer back to the bible. It was Esther, a woman that saved her race from destruction. Mary, gave birth to our Lord and Savior Jesus, Sarah gave birth at 90 years old, Miriam, was Moses' sister, but  was the acknowledged leader of all the women who fled from Egypt with their families, Ruth, was a strong woman who lost her husband and followed her mother in law to an unfamiliar land. Not only that, she converted from Paganism to Christianity, where God in time blessed her with a husband. I could go on, but the list is too long. I think we see the big picture. Now last but not least, we have us. We are women on fire for the Lord. Some of us are mothers, single women , wives, all doing one thing. Walking with the Lord best we know how. We are not perfect, but it's ok. We are not always strong, but that's ok too. Sometimes we fall, but we get back up again and continue our walk. That's how Jesus wants it. We are women, holding on to Gods promises, exercising our faith, and going the extra mile. God has a plan for all of us, let's not take that durable exterior we have developed for granted, let's go forward in the Lord and spread the gospel of Jesus.
