Beauty Marks Part 2
Welcome to Beauty Marks Part 2
I hope you enjoyed Part 1. Today begins Week 1, and our scripture for the week is in Song of Solomon
Scriptures For The Week: KJV
Song of Solomon 4:7
Esther 4:14
Song of Solomon 4:7
" Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee."
In this scripture Solomon was speaking of a maiden and describing 7 parts of her body. 7 is a number of perfection. So from head to toe Solomon found his beloved maiden incomparably beautiful. Just as God finds us all beautiful in His sight. As women we are thought to be beautiful. We are creatures that are designed with purpose and we all have a place in Gods kingdom. To feel worthless, low self esteem, and like we don't have a purpose is only a trick of the enemy to stunt our growth in the Lord. We have a powerfulness, a way of naturing, a loving way that makes us unique and different from men. We are strong where men are weak. In actuality we are all created different, and some of us feel less attractive then others. God loves us with that unconditional love, and when we are able to the same, we Will do the same. Nothing minor like looks, body, or what we wear will make a difference to us.
Esther 4:14
"For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
Esther was considered the most beautiful in the land when all the ladies from far and near gathered to see if they would be chosen to be queen. Esther was the chosen one in more ways then one. She was a chosen queen and God chosen to lead her people to life. She saved her entire nation of Jewish people. Her beauty helped her get in position to save her nation. We too can be vessels of beauty, not just on the outside, but inside. We can lead people to Christ with our beautiful spirits and souls. This is a true incident of God using an individual as well as Him ruling over all the universe. Esther was made Queen at that time, to help protect her people by praying and fasting. This shows us that help from God can come directly or indirectly. Thus God using our situations, our characteristics to help other people as a testimony.
