BEAUTY MARKS PART 1

Week 4 , and this is the last lesson in Part 1. I hope you have enjoyed this study so far.


Our Scriptures for this week are;

1 Thessalonians 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

In our  2 scriptures we find that God basically uses His peace to sanctify us wholly. The 23rd Psalms is God as our protector and provider. He IS our shepherd, He restores our soul, He keeps us from fearing evil, He prepares a table for us, and in front of our enemies mind you. He let's us know also that good and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in His house forever with Him. This tells me that God loves me and He loves you too. He will be there for us in our worst times. As He was with David. David made alot of wrong choices and bad decisions. He had scars, bruises, flaws and was broken. God forgave him of his adulterous, lustful and murderous ways and made him a man after His own heart. So shall we be as we let the Lord perform surgery on us and make us beautiful again. So it doesn't matter how ugly we think we are, or how broken, how messed up and how flawed we are. God wants to make beauty marks out of us. Marking us for His glory and letting everyone around know it was Him. Let's become women after God's own heart.
