ALONE TIME WITH GOD FOR THE BUSY WOMAN: A Devotional Bible Study

Welcome to WEEK 1 of Alone Time With God: For The Busy Woman. I am excited to share with you what I have learned as I am a busy woman, but need to have my alone time with God. There are great additions added to our lives as we carve out time from our already busy days to acknowledge God knows the days we have and the struggle to make 24 hours work for us day after day.

Are you having a hard time spending time with God? Well ,I want to encourage you. There IS enough time in the day to include God. With our day to day schedules as mothers, wives, as employees, employers, and children of God, our lives can sometimes be a bit full, overbooked, hectic and down right exhausting. But there is hope. At the end of a hard tiresome day there is still the alone with time with God needed. Ahh, when will I be able to fit it in? We think about it all day long, we even attempt to start our alone time. When we do, there is always something. The kids, the phone, the door, the dog, housework, work calling us in, something. What are we to do? If we start too late, we fall asleep. So here is the thing. We have to make time for our alone time with God.

This little 4 week bible study will help us get our alone time with God and also our daily schedules done. All you need is your bible, a journal, and a 15-30 minute window of time for God. You are the one in charge here, this is between you and God. You go as deep as you need to in your devotions and study.

What time is a good time?
Any time that you can meet God and give Him a few minutes of your day is a good time. Shoot for the same time each day, if you can't pull that off, then schedule time in your day. Like everything else in your schedule.

Each day read your scripture(s) and jot down some key points that will help you as you study the word. Write down as much as you can, Maybe even go back. When you are done with that, just do a little reflection on your findings and allow God to speak to you. Journaling is a great way to conversate with God and to expound on what you find in the word, it can also be a refreshing writing experience. I have shared with you my thoughts on each scripture. Go ahead find you alone time with God.  KJV scripture

WEEK 1
Monday-  Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
If you take care of God's business, he will take care of you. God wants to give us good things, and when we make him proud, he will do just that.

Tuesday- Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
All things work together for the good as we continue to walk in our purpose.  When things happen in our lives, good or bad, they are working together for us, on our behalf.

Wednesday- 1 Peter 2:2
"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby"
As we study and read the word, we will grow and learn and receive revelation. There are new revelations in each scripture we read and study. Like food is nourishment for our bodies, the word of God is food and nourishment for our souls.

Thursday- Philippians 1:6
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"
The good works that God began in us could not be done by us or any other religion. Nothing that man does today can lay the foundation of a certain conviction
that he will do the same thing tomorrow. If the perseverance of being a Christian depended wholly on us, we would not make it.  With being said, we would never reach heaven. God is what makes these good works permanent.

Friday- Psalms 119:105
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
God's Word gives us direction in our life, it shows us the path God wants us on.
