A Sari Experience

Many times ladies, we are up against some pretty tough battles. It could be a job issue, a child problem, a home situation, or even marital. The closer we get to God,look for these things to happen. The enemy (Satan) is never going to allow you to make that transaction easily. He's going to spend all of his time making you look unworthy and trying to make you believe you aren't capable of achieving and maintaining a relationship with God. That is so beyond the truth, but we have to know who we are in Christ and how to stand and defeat the enemy. We do that with the word (Bible) and because we serve a true and living God we are often brought  out without a scratch on us leaving the enemy beaten. Its nothing we do either to make this so, it's all on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He LOVED us so much He died for us, and He LOVES us so much He is still there caring for us. I know, it's awesome to feel that sense of inherited parenthood. Lets take a look into the word.

Take Sarah for instance. She was married to Abraham. Sarah was also barren and wanted a child terribly. The Lord promised to make him a father of nations. She knew she couldn't conceive and decided to help. Why do we always feel the  need to help? She had a maidservant named Hagar. She gave Hagar to her husband to give him an heir. Now it was bad enough Sarah did that then, how would that have played out in these days?? Not good in either time frame. Hagar bore a son. Ishmael, not the heir the Lord intended, but he was born. Abraham was happy but Sarah was still childless. The Lord told Abraham that Sarah was going to conceive,she overheard this and laughed. How many times have we heard from the Lord and thought it would never happen??  Right... well, as the Lord has instruction, He let Abraham know then that the covenant would be with Sarah's child, not with Hagar's. The promise would start of being a father of nations with Issac being born in the spring.  With that promise Sarah would conceive and the Lord would change her name to Sarah from Sari.
I think sometimes we all go through a Sari experience   with the Lord, sort of a new level thing. We realize that God is the power in our lives and that we are the vessel. If we listen, believe , and also have faith, we can do the impossible, achieve the unreachable, and live the promise.
I went through a Sari experience, it absolutely changed my life. God is faithful and He will do exactly what He says. On His time not ours.

Lord, look on each individual today who may need a Sari experience and give them what it takes to hold on to your promises. Thank you Lord for giving us your  promises and finding us faithful and worthy of them.  Teach us Lord not to go ahead of you and to be patient in your timing. Although we will never understand your mind because your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts, help us to wait and know YOU are God. These things we pray in Jesus name.
