Kingdom Women of God Lesson 3
KWOG- Lesson 3: Strategic Prayer
Welcome back to Kingdom Women of God Women's Bible Study. Last lesson we learned who we are in God. Today we will take a look at personal ministry and recognizing our ministry.
Strategic Women Prayer Warriors: Women on the wall for the kingdom.
Praying in strategy, with a specific purpose in mind. That purpose being to tear down the kingdom of Satan. As we grow to learn who we are in Christ, and be used supernaturally by God spiritually in our gifts and callings. We will embark upon a whole new level of kingdom workers. God is raising up women for such a time as this. The scriptures are there, and as we place them in our hearts, we will become closer to God in our walks. That’s our main goal.

Esther 4: 5-16
This
part of scripture talks about how Mordecai found out the decree to annihilate
the Jewish people, which were Esther’s people. She sent word to Mordecai to
fast and pray and she would do the same before meeting with the king, and you
have to have the scepter extended to you for that. Esther was determined, and
she said if she perish, let her perish. But God ended up giving her favor and
she was extended the scepter and her people saved. The same is today with us.
If we go to God in a strategic frame of prayer with a specific purpose, He will
move for us.
Psalm 50:14-15
This scripture talks about offerings
and vows to God. He tells us if we call upon Him, He will deliver us. Then we
will give Him glory. As in our prayer time, we asked God for things and for things
for other people. When prayer is offered with supplication there is an intimacy
that is reached. In our prayer time we want to become intimate with God while
we speak with Him.
Psalm 66:17
This scripture is talking about how
God listens when we pray and doesn’t turn a deaf ear to us, He stays with us
and is loyal to us. Crying designs prayer, and supposes
distress; and crying with the mouth denotes vocal, ardent, and fervent prayer. (and
he was extolled with my tongue :) at the same time the psalmist (said to be
king David but not proven of this particular psalm) prayed for deliverance out
of his distresses, he praised God for the mercies he had received. This
scripture expresses gratitude for Gods goodness
Psalm 95:2
(Let us come before his presence with
thanksgiving.) Our first duty, when we come before God's presence, is to thank
him. Then make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. A "psalm" is a "song or or poem used to worship"
together with the natural concomitant- to accompany the main event which is in
this case is giving thanksgiving)
Psalm 118:25
(Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord, ) Or,(
"we beseech thee"; ) these are the words of the people, wishing all
health and happiness to their king; they had said, ("vivat rex")that
is, "let the king live", or, "God save the King": no doubt
these words were used by the people, when all the tribes united and made David king
over all Israel, the words were used in shouts and acclamations by the people,
expressing themselves, certainly these were words used by the followers of
Christ, and applied to him, when he made his public entry into Jerusalem,
crying, "hosanna" to the son of David. The word "hosanna"
is the same with "save now"; as we pray using this kind of accolade
with God it will bring about a form of saving, a sense of need for God to help
us. A form of praise that shows our allegiance to the Lord so to speak.
Hebrews 11:11
A very familiar passage of scripture
and bible story. (Sarah through faith received strength to conceive a seed. She did and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him
faithful who had promised.) Just as Sarah we have to go to God in prayer with
belief and faith. When we ask for things in prayer, we can give God His word
back and the promises he gives us in the word.
Philippians 4:6
This scripture is plainly telling us;
BUT in every thing BY prayer and supplication WITH thanksgiving LET your
requests be made known unto God. Again we have prayer, supplication, and
thanksgiving.
1.Prayer of supplication
being literally a request or petition, asking God for something. Prayer of supplication is generally a request for the person praying. Unlike
the
2. Prayer of petition, which is praying on behalf of others, the prayer of
supplication is generally a request for the person praying.
Romans 10:13
In prayer When we call upon
the name Jesus things happen weather its soul salvation, healing, answered
prayer, deliverance of issues. The name Jesus changes all of sin and iniquity and brings about a change. WE can use it in thanksgiving, worshiping,
praising and also spiritual warfare.
Matthew 6: 9-13
This is the Lords prayer. A lot of
people recite this prayer to God nightly out of ritual or teaching, some teach
it to their children, which is all fine but this prayer was an actual example. The
Lord’s Prayer was never meant to be memorized and recited to
God. It is an example of the things that should go into a prayer—worship, trust
in God, requests, confession, and submission. We are to pray for the things the
Lord’s Prayer talks about, using our own words and “customizing” it to our own
journey with God. The proper way to pray is to express our hearts to God.
Sitting, standing, or kneeling; hands open or closed; eyes opened or closed; in
a church, at home, or outside; in the morning or at night—these are all side
issues, just for personal preference, conviction, and appropriateness. God’s
desire is for prayer to be a real and personal connection between Himself and
us. Remember, it is most definitely a personal thing when it comes to your prayer time with God.
Mark 9:29
This scripture is speaking about demons
and spirits. IN this case the disciples had prayed for the child and could not
cast the demon. Jesus was able to cast with no problem. He had fasted and had
been praying. Demons are tricky and you can’t just cast them.( I learned that I
have to continuously pray having a gift to cast demons, I can’t come up on
one and not be able to cast it. I can tell when I need to fast more, because I
get weak and ill feeling from being among just regular people with ungodly spirits.)
So I incorporate fasting and prayer in my weekly agenda and my private time
with the Lord. ( You can try it, see how it works for you) As your walk grows
with the Lord, so will your own agenda and your own way of spiritual
connections.
Luke 2:36-38 They were married 7 years and she was 84. Speaking about fasting and praying here. She
fasted night and day she never left the temple, She gave thanks to the Lord and
spoke of Him, Jesus to all that seeked redemption in Jerusalem. Just as we
ought to speak on the goodness of the Lord.
Galatians 4:19 Paul was speaking to the Galatians
Travailing prayer is a manifestation
of the grief of the heart of God. Travailing also has a 2 fold meaning when you
apply it to prayer that cries out unto God. We should be able to understand
this, if we realize that we now have the Holy Spirit living in us, and He has
chosen to use our mouths to speak for Him. Since He has chosen to use us in His
great plan to spread the gospel, He uses our mouths to witness to others and
our hands to help people. Another truth that is often
overlooked is that He also uses our hearts and emotions to weep and “cry
through.” The Spirit of God expresses His grief in travailing. Most Christians
have experienced this without ever realizing it was a work of the Holy Spirit.
At their conversion they may have wept and cried, grieved over their sins.
Then later they got a burden for the salvation and deliverance of others, and
cried over them also. This is known as travailing prayer. We will get deeper in Lesson 4 about travailing prayer.
So this has been basically our lesson on Strategic Prayer. God is strategically putting our ministries, lives, marriages, families, health and finances back together. He is getting ready to elevate, and promote His people. Not just because you are a Christian, it takes more than that, but because we have been on the wall, and faithful to our Lord and calls. Thanks for reading with us.
