The Hem

So we all know the story of the woman with the issue of blood?She did everything, in her power, and spent all of her money. Nothing worked. She heard of a man named Jesus that could heal the sick and raise the dead. She thought, He has to be my last resort. So as she tried reaching Him and tried to see Him, to talk to Him. There was just no way, too many people were seeking to see, speak, touch and receive the power of Jesus upon their lives. But she pressed.

Okay, we have a woman here, dying, blood leaving her body rapidly, and has been doing so for 12 years. So she's weak, frail, exhausted I'm sure. But she had a purpose in seeking Jesus. She needed to see Him, for her sake....or she would die. In the natural, we would go to the Dr, get checked, be on our way. Prescriptions, Dr notes for work. Well it was different for this lady. She pressed, she kept trying to get to Jesus. We would call make an appointment with our Dr., if no luck then we take whatever day and time available, and wait if we have to. If it's an emergency, we go to the ER..bottom line we have choices. She didn't. She sought after her 1 hope, her only hope. Jesus. She felt with all the good news she heard that she couldn't go wrong. She had faith it would work. She looked past the crowd, she didn't care it was like, a bi zillion people there. She thought if I could only just touch the hem of his garment, I KNOW I will be made WHOLE. 

Many of us today are looking for that perfect fix, that special cure. It can only be found in Jesus. This woman with the issue of blood had faith and she trusted in the miracles she heard about. That's why she was healed. If you're in the market for a healing, or something else, exercise your faith like the woman with the issue of blood.

Lord, I come today, asking you for grace and mercy on behalf of us we seek your blessings upon our lives. Some of us are in between a rock and a hard place.The only hope we have is in You. Lord, give us the ability to trust you and to exercise the faith we need to receive what you have for us. We would be grateful and give you all the glory. We thank you in Jesus' name. Amen.
